As the year starts to wind down, I always love taking a moment to look back — and one of my favourite ways to do that is through end-of-year junk journal flip-throughs. There’s something really special about seeing all the art created throughout the year gathered together in one place. Each page holds a memory, a mood, or a little moment of creative joy.Over the past year, I’ve filled my journals with layers of paper, scraps, textures, pockets, tags, lace, and fabric — all the little bits and bobs that slowly turned into meaningful pages. Some spreads were calm and gentle, others bold and playful, but every single one tells a story about where my creativity was at that time.
In this video, I’m flipping through my journal and revisiting the pages I created throughout the year. It’s a relaxed, cosy look back at the art, the experiments, and the ideas that came together over time.
