This July I’ve been deep in #JJMadness — and I’m excited to share my newest creation: a fantasy & folklore junk journal, made completely from scrappy bits and bobs! ๐๐ง
Starting with a bunch of old pages, leftover papers, and random bits I’ve collected over time, I slowly shaped them into something magical. I layered textures, added torn vintage-looking pages, little pockets, tiny charms, and whimsical touches that whisper “mystery” and “story.” It feels like I’m building a little world on paper — one page at a time.
Watching the journal come together was such a gentle, joyful craft session. I let my imagination roam: maybe a fairy lives behind that pocket, or that ragged edge hides a secret letter from an ancient traveller. That’s the beauty of junk journaling — you don’t just make a pretty page, you make a universe.
